The IXL Events Centre at Dallas Burston Polo Club is where Kudos AV operates as the permanent, resident production partner. This is not a venue we visit occasionally. It is a venue we know inside out, in every season and for every type of event.
Set within the Dallas Burston Polo Club estate in Southam, Warwickshire, the IXL Events Centre hosts weddings, conferences and gala dinners. The venue publishes main-hall capacities of 750 banquet style and 800 theatre style. We plan the stage, screens, dancefloor and production positions around the final guest layout agreed with the venue.
As the in house production team, we work hand in hand with the venue's events management team to plan and deliver every technical element. There are no briefing delays, no unfamiliar cable runs and no surprises on the day. We already know the power loads, the rigging points, the acoustic properties of each room and the best approaches for every lighting scenario. That knowledge translates directly into smoother, faster and better events for every client.
What makes IXL exceptional.
The venue's scale is matched by its flexibility. Large double doors allow vehicles to be driven directly into the Main Hall, making it one of the few venues in the country suitable for car launches and large exhibition builds. Four spacious lounges with outdoor terraces offer panoramic views across the polo grounds and serve as elegant pre-event reception areas.
The venue is located just 90 minutes from London, a short drive from the M40 and within easy reach of Birmingham Airport and regional rail connections. On site parking for 350 cars means arrivals are seamless. The fully equipped banqueting kitchen, staff facilities and self-contained dressing rooms make this a genuinely end to end event destination.

As the resident production partner, our team manages full technical delivery across every event in the venue. This includes sound system design and engineering for audiences of all sizes, intelligent lighting rigs and wash systems, LED screen and projection solutions, live streaming and broadcast infrastructure, and complete stage and set management. We also provide full technical project management from first planning call through to post-event derig.

In 2025, Kudos AV led a full scale production refurbishment of the IXL Events Centre: rebuilding the venue's entire technical and aesthetic infrastructure from the ground up. Every detail was upgraded. Every surface was considered.

Weddings at Dallas Burston
The IXL Events Centre is one of the few rooms in the Midlands that can carry a 550 guest wedding with a full production build, and as the in-house team we design and deliver them here week in, week out: bespoke stages, printed dancefloors and walkways, feature bars, chandelier canopies, LED screens with the couple's content, d&b sound for bands and DJs, and low fog and CO2 for the first dance.
Recent weddings in the room include a space-themed wedding for 550 guests with LED built into the stage, a chandelier filled midnight ballroom, a black tie wedding around a circular bar and a 500 guest wedding with two ceremonies in one day. For DJs, dhol and live acts, our sister company Kudos Music keeps its own page of weddings at Dallas Burston Polo Club.
Corporate events at Dallas Burston
Conferences, award dinners, product launches and gala nights get the same resident team and the same permanent infrastructure: the fixed Unilumin 2.6mm LED wall, the overhead lighting rig and rigging points, d&b sound, live camera and vision mixing, streaming for hybrid audiences, and a main hall that vehicles can be driven straight into for launches and exhibition builds.

For a conference at IXL Events Centre, Dallas Burston Polo Club, we plan the technical programme from the first presentation through to the evening event. That can include speaker microphones, presentation playback, stage lighting, live camera relay and a streamed session. Awards dinners and product launches use the same resident production team, with the stage, branding and show cues planned around your running order. Producing an event at IXL Events Centre
01Is a technician included, or is it dry hire?
Either. Equipment can go out on dry hire, or with the technicians and operators who install it, run the show and take it out again. Most events at the IXL Events Centre are crewed. Our quotes list install crew, operators and the project manager as separate lines, so you can see exactly what is included before you commit.
02How do you work around the venue's access times?
The venue sets load in, curfew and derig, and we build the schedule around them rather than the other way round. Out of hours and overnight load ins are normal where a room is in use during the day. Tell us the running times you have been given and we will tell you what is achievable inside them.
03Who is the in house AV supplier at the IXL Events Centre?
Yes. We are the resident production partner for the room, so the sound, lighting, video and staging for an event there are designed and run by the venue's own technical team.
04How big is the IXL Events Centre?
The venue’s current FAQs list 750 guests banquet style and 800 theatre style in the main hall. Confirm a standing capacity and the final floorplan directly with IXL: its published main-hall and overall-venue figures differ, and production takes its own space.
05What have you produced there?

06Do we have to use Kudos AV at the venue?

Yes. As the resident production partner at IXL Events Centre, we can plan both parts together, using the venue’s sound, lighting and screen infrastructure with additional equipment where required.
