Syon Park is one of London's most breathtaking and historically significant private hire venues. Nestled on the banks of the River Thames in Brentford, this magnificent 200-acre estate has been the London seat of the Percy family, Dukes of Northumberland, for over 400 years.
The jewel of the estate is the Great Conservatory , a spectacular 19th-century glass and stone domed structure that stands as one of the finest examples of its kind in the world. Flooded with natural light and surrounded by ornamental gardens and sweeping lawns, it creates an atmosphere that is genuinely unlike anything else you will find in the capital. It is available for events from April through to mid-October, with the adjacent Cactus House available as a wet-weather contingency or breakout space.
For those seeking something more intimate or formal, Syon House itself offers a series of spectacular Robert Adam-designed state rooms. The Great Hall, State Dining Room and Northumberland Room each offer a different scale and character, from grand receptions to private boardroom dinners, all set within one of England's finest examples of Georgian interior design.

Corporate events and summer parties at Syon Park
A corporate reception in the Great Conservatory needs a different production approach from a dinner in Syon House. The conservatory’s glass surfaces affect how speech and music carry, while its changing daylight influences the lighting and presentation design. We plan sound coverage, speaker positions and lighting around the room, your seating layout and the time of the event.
For a company summer party, client reception or brand event, the programme may move between drinks, speeches, dinner and entertainment. Kudos AV can coordinate the technical requirements for each part, including sound for performers and presentation AV where appropriate. Outdoor elements, seasonal availability and equipment positions must be agreed with the estate. Tell us which Syon spaces you are considering so we can scope a practical production plan.
Producing an event at Syon Park
01Is a technician included, or is it dry hire?
Either. Equipment can go out on dry hire, or with the technicians and operators who install it, run the show and take it out again. Most events at Syon Park are crewed. Our quotes list install crew, operators and the project manager as separate lines, so you can see exactly what is included before you commit.
02Can you rig from the building's structure?
Only from points the venue approves, and never from anything the venue has not signed off. Our riggers work to LOLER and PLASA standards, with full load calculations and risk assessments completed before load in. The team works regularly in heritage interiors, listed beam structures and rooms with low ceilings, so the design starts from what the building allows.
03What can Syon Park hold?
350 for a standing reception, 160 for a seated dinner and 200 for a ceremony, on a 200 acre estate with more than 500 years of history, as the London home of the Duke of Northumberland.
04Can you put sound into the Great Conservatory?
Yes. Conservatory audio is its own problem, a glass house is reflective and unforgiving, so the system is designed for the room rather than dropped in.
05What else do you supply at Syon?
Sympathetic lighting for a heritage setting, presentation and AV, and production for live entertainment. Tell us what the event has to do and we will design around the space.
06Can you supply sound and lighting for a corporate summer party at Syon Park?
Yes. We plan sound for speeches and entertainment, atmospheric lighting and any presentation requirements around the spaces booked. If the event includes the grounds as well as the Great Conservatory or Syon House, share the proposed guest route and programme so access, power and outdoor arrangements can be agreed with the estate.
