A Chandelier Ballroom Wedding
A midnight ballroom at the IXL Events Centre: a canopy of grand crystal chandeliers over the tables, a mirrored centre display on an illuminated dancefloor, a first dance on clouds, and a full concert-grade light show to close the night.

This wedding transformed the IXL Events Centre at Dallas Burston Polo Club into a midnight ballroom: a dark, starlit room where the light came from a canopy of grand crystal chandeliers suspended over the tables, rigged and lit by Kudos AV as the venue's in-house production team.
At the centre of the room, a mirrored circular display carried the cake on an illuminated geometric dancefloor, with a large LED screen behind it carrying content through the evening. The floral design and styling were provided separately; our job was to light them beautifully.
A first dance on clouds
For the first dance, low fog rolled across the floor so the couple danced on a bed of cloud, picked out by tight white beams from above, one of the most photographed moments of the night.
From there the room changed character completely: a full concert-grade light show took over for the party, golden beams over the live performance and colour sweeping the floor as the chandeliers glittered through the haze.
