Easthampstead Park is a Victorian mansion built in 1864, set in 80 acres of woodland, parkland and formal gardens on the edge of Wokingham. Following a multi million pound restoration completed in 2021, it is now a 4 star hotel and one of the South East's most versatile event venues, ten minutes from Wokingham town centre and within easy reach of the M4, M3 and M25, with Heathrow around 30 minutes away.
The centrepiece for large events is The King Suite : a purpose built venue within the grounds, measuring 750 square metres with its own kitchens, dance floor, integrated video wall and private terrace. It seats 540 theatre style or 480 for a banquet, making it equally at home for conferences, award ceremonies, product launches and gala dinners.
Inside the mansion, the ground floor Downshire Ballroom hosts up to 200 guests with its own private bar, orangery and terrace, while eight elegant meeting rooms on the first floor flex from intimate boardrooms of eight to conferences of seventy. The mansion and grounds also make a beautiful setting for weddings of up to 100, complete with a dedicated pavilion and an original stained glass window.
As an accredited production partner at Easthampstead Park, Kudos AV brings full technical production to every one of these spaces: from the large format staging, lighting and LED of a 500 delegate conference in the King Suite, to the warmth of a candlelit dinner in the mansion. We work with the venue's heritage fabric and in house systems to deliver a flawless event from first site survey to final derig.

Conference and awards production at Easthampstead Park
A conference in the King Suite can involve presentation playback, multiple speakers, live camera relay and an evening awards programme. Kudos AV plans the stage, screens, microphones and lighting together, checking how additional equipment will work with the venue’s existing systems. The audience layout and running order determine the design, from a single presentation to a full day of sessions.
For a residential conference, include the meeting rooms and breakout sessions as well as the main stage. Smaller presentations in the mansion and an awards dinner in the King Suite need different levels of technical support. Producing an event at Easthampstead Park
01Is a technician included, or is it dry hire?
Either. Equipment can go out on dry hire, or with the technicians and operators who install it, run the show and take it out again. Most events at Easthampstead Park are crewed. Our quotes list install crew, operators and the project manager as separate lines, so you can see exactly what is included before you commit.
02How do you work around the venue's access times?
The venue sets load in, curfew and derig, and we build the schedule around them rather than the other way round. Out of hours and overnight load ins are normal where a room is in use during the day. Tell us the running times you have been given and we will tell you what is achievable inside them.
03What is the largest event Easthampstead Park can hold?
The King Suite takes 540 theatre style, 480 for a seated dinner and 500 standing. There are eight further meeting rooms in the mansion and 92 en suite bedrooms on 80 acres of Berkshire parkland.
04What AV can you get for a conference at Easthampstead Park?

05Does it work for a residential conference?
Yes, that is the point of the 92 bedrooms and the ten event spaces. Send us the programme and we will scope the production across the days.
06Can you cover breakout rooms as well as the King Suite conference stage?
Yes. Send the room list, session timings and presentation requirements for each space. We can scope microphones, screens and technical support for the main conference and smaller meetings, with any recording or streaming requirements assessed as part of the same brief.
