A landmark UK-India night at The Peninsula London
The UK-India Awards 2026 is the flagship awards ceremony of India Global Forum, staged at The Peninsula London as the centrepiece of the tenth anniversary of IGF's UK-India Week. The 2026 edition celebrated the newly ratified UK-India Free Trade Agreement in front of an audience of senior ministers, high commissioners, diplomats and global business leaders.
Honourees on the night included India's Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal and the UK-India FTA negotiating teams, alongside Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw, Uday Kotak, the Premier League, Grant Thornton, Wockhardt, the British Asian Trust and the British Council. Kudos AV delivered the full technical production, from stage and screen to sound, lighting, cameras and print.

The Peninsula London, overlooking Hyde Park Corner in Belgravia, is one of the capital's newest and most prestigious five-star venues. Producing in a luxury hotel ballroom means designing every element, screen, stage, rigging and lighting, to sit perfectly in the space while protecting the venue and keeping clean sightlines from every table. Lighting the stage, and every table in the room
Lighting did two jobs at once. Overhead, a moving-head rig keyed and washed the stage so presenters and award winners read cleanly in the room and on camera, with programmed states for speeches, presentations and applause moments.
Across the floor, the same rig picked out every guest table individually, lifting the whole room to a consistent, camera-ready level. The result is a space that feels premium from any seat and films beautifully wide, with no dark tables or flat corners.

Show Time
Live cameras and full vision mixing put every presenter and award winner on the big screens, so the whole room stayed with the moment.

Every sightline, screen and lighting position was pre-visualised in 3D before load-in, so the build dropped into the ballroom exactly as designed.
A full technical floor plan mapped the stage, LED, seating and band area to The Peninsula London ballroom, down to the millimetre.
Large-format printed media walls welcomed guests through the foyer and set the tone before they entered the room.
