The d&b B2-SUB is the box you bring when the low end has to be felt. A horn-loaded bandpass design with extremely high output, it works as an infrabass extension under a C4 system or as a high-output subwoofer in its own right for C7 and F1222 rigs. d&b recommend four C4-SUBs to one B2 in a C4 system.

How it is used
The B2 ground-stacks, usually in a cluster at the stage front or in a cardioid arrangement to keep bass off the stage. The cabinet is marine plywood with an impact-resistant finish, eight integral steel handles, four heavy-duty wheels on the rear and catches for an optional lid, so it moves on its own and travels protected. It is driven by d&b amplification alongside the rest of the system.

When do I need a B2-SUB rather than a Q-SUB?+
When the event is about the low end: dance music, festival stages, club nights and big parties. For speech and most live bands the Q-SUB is enough.
Can the B2-SUB be arranged to keep bass off the stage?+
Yes. Our engineers set up cardioid sub arrays so the audience gets the low end and the performers do not.
Do you deliver and rig the B2-SUB?+
Yes. Delivery, collection and technical support are part of the hire, and an engineer can rig, tune and mix the system.
