The Robe Robin 600 LEDWash is the moving-head wash that does the everyday work of a stage rig: 37 RGBW multichip LEDs behind efficient optics, a linear motorised zoom from 15 to 60 degrees, and colour mixing in 8 or 16 bit. Wide, it covers a stage or a cyc in an even field; tight, it picks out a lectern or a band position. It has been a rental standard for years for the simple reason that it does what it is asked, every night.

How it is used
Pan runs through 450 degrees with automatic position correction, so the fixture returns to its cue after a knock. A variable-speed strobe to 20 flashes per second and a high-resolution dimmer cover the effects. Five DMX modes range from simple to full control, and three editable stand-alone programs of up to 100 steps run without a desk. Power is a hard-wired 16 A connection; data on 3 and 5 pin XLR in and out.

For a typical conference stage, four to six across the front truss washes it evenly. Tell us the stage width and we will spec the rig.

03Can it run without a lighting desk?
Yes. Three stand-alone programs of up to 100 steps can be stored on the fixture for simple colour looks.
