Full product details
The Chauvet EZbar puts three narrow warm white pin spots on a bar that runs off its own battery, so light lands on a table with nothing running to it. Each pod throws a five degree beam, tight enough to pick out a cake, a centrepiece or a run of food and leave the cloth around it dark.

How it is used
A strong magnet in the base fixes the bar to truss, a pipe, a stand or any steel the room offers, and each of the three pods aims on its own. The rechargeable lithium battery gives up to ten hours from a six hour charge, so it covers a full event day, and the supplied IRC-6 infrared remote sets the dimmer and turns it on and off. There is no DMX on it, which is rather the point: it lights the corner of a room that no cable reaches. Wide angle diffusers come in the case for short throws, where five degrees is too tight.

Twelve EZbars lit the buffet at a 550 guest wedding in a glass marquee, working alongside Astera AX5 uplighters that run on battery in the same way. Where there is mains and a lighting desk, the Chauvet DJ Pinspot Bar X6 puts six spots on one bar and takes DMX. Our lighting designers will place and focus them as part of the room design.

Does the EZbar need a power cable?+
No. It runs from a rechargeable lithium battery for up to ten hours, so it can light a cake table or a buffet with nothing running to it. A full charge takes six hours.
How many do I need?+
One bar covers three points, so three small tables or three sections of a long buffet. Twelve of them lit the buffet at a 550 guest marquee wedding. Tell us the room and we will work it out.
Can it be run from the lighting desk?+
No. It is set with the supplied IRC-6 infrared remote, which handles on, off and the dimmer. For pin spots on DMX, hire the mains powered Chauvet DJ Pinspot Bar X6 instead.
