Full product details

The Chauvet Pro Epix Strip IP is a one metre pixel bar with 100 individually controllable RGB LEDs, rated IP65 so it can live outside. Run a row of them along a stage edge, up a truss or around a set piece and you have a line of light that chases, flows and plays video-style content across the whole structure.

What it is for

  • Pixel-mapped outlines on stages, set edges and bars
  • LED bar walls and low-res video surfaces behind bands and DJs
  • Architectural lines on building facades and outdoor structures, rain or shine
  • Chases and colour flows synced to the show from a lighting desk or media server

How it works

Strips link end to end with IP-rated four-pin cables and are powered and driven by the Epix Drive 2000 IP, which takes Art-Net, Kling-Net or sACN. That means a media server such as Resolume, or a desk with pixel mapping such as grandMA or Avolites, treats a run of strips as one screen. Square and round milky filters and a black stealth filter come with each strip, so the bar can read as a soft line, a diffused glow or a high-contrast dot matrix.

What it pairs with

Hire it with the Epix Strip IP 0.5m for shorter runs and corners, and the Epix Drive 2000 IP to power and control it. Our lighting designers will map the content and programme the looks if you would rather not.

Delivery and support

Hire questions

Chauvet Pro EPIX Strip IP 1.0m hire FAQs

01What do I need to run the Epix Strip IP?

An Epix Drive 2000 IP, which powers the strips and takes Art-Net, Kling-Net or sACN from a desk or media server. We supply it with the hire.

02Can the Epix Strip IP be used outdoors?

Yes. The strips and the driver are rated IP65, so they can be rigged outside in the rain.

03How is content mapped across the strips?

A run of strips appears as one pixel surface to a media server or a desk with pixel mapping. Our lighting team can map and programme it for you.
