A hotel transformed into a festive world
Kudos AV delivered a complete immersive Santa's Grotto installation at the Hilton London Metropole for Principal Global Events, transforming multiple hotel rooms into a seamless, theatrically designed festive experience from concept through to guest-ready delivery.
The brief demanded more than standard seasonal decoration: bespoke props and set dressing, large format print across every surface, atmospheric lighting for each distinct environment, and LCD screen installations creating the illusion of external winter views from inside the hotel rooms.
Designing an immersive world inside a hotel
Kudos AV approached the grotto as a total design challenge, not room-by-room but as a single spatial experience. Scenic design, print identity, prop selection, room-by-room lighting and LCD window installations worked together so the hotel ceased to exist the moment a guest stepped through the entrance.
