Kudos AV produces conferences, award ceremonies, brand activations, exhibitions and private events across London and the UK, around 500 a year, from our base in Uxbridge. The core team is full time; when a build needs more hands we book freelancers we know, and the people who do good work get booked again and again.
Signing up takes two minutes: three details now, then an onboarding form where you tell us what you do, your tickets and your rates. Once you are on the register, our bookings board can put you straight on jobs. Day rates are agreed before you are booked, and we pay promptly on invoice.
For crew that means stage deck and set builds, truck unloads that set the tone for the whole day, scene changes done quietly in show blacks, and crew chiefs who can run a dock and a local crew without drama.
What you will do
- Build staging, deck and set pieces from drawings with the department heads.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and without breaking things.
- Run cable, set furniture and dress the room to the plan.
- Crew chiefs: brief and run local crew, own the schedule and keep the PM ahead of problems.
- De-rig cleanly and get the truck packed right.
What we are looking for
- Event site experience: you know how a load in runs and where to be useful.
- Physically fit and reliable, with a phone that gets answered.
- Presentable and calm in client facing venues.
- Able to work events across London and the UK, including early starts, late finishes and weekends.
Useful but not essential
- Crew chief experience running docks and local crew.
- Forklift, IPAF or PASMA tickets.
- A full UK driving licence.
