Kudos AV produces conferences, award ceremonies, brand activations, exhibitions and private events across London and the UK, around 500 a year, from our base in Uxbridge. The core team is full time; when a build needs more hands we book freelancers we know, and the people who do good work get booked again and again.

Signing up takes two minutes: three details now, then an onboarding form where you tell us what you do, your tickets and your rates. Once you are on the register, our bookings board can put you straight on jobs. Day rates are agreed before you are booked, and we pay promptly on invoice.

For sound that means d&b rigs in ballrooms, radio mic counts in the dozens, awards nights with stings and walk ups, and conferences where a lapel that crackles is the only thing anyone remembers.

What you will do

  • Mix front of house and monitors on corporate events, awards and live performances.
  • Rig, patch and time-align PA systems, from column speech rigs to full line arrays.
  • Manage radio mic plots, frequencies and battery discipline across long show days.
  • Work to the show plan with our project managers, and flag problems before doors.
  • Load in, load out and look after the kit like it is your own.

What we are looking for

  • At least a couple of years mixing live events professionally, with shows you can talk through.
  • Confident on digital desks such as Yamaha CL/QL, DiGiCo or Allen & Heath.
  • Calm under pressure, presentable in front of clients, and good with a crew.
  • Able to travel to venues across London and the UK; early starts and late finishes are the job.

Useful but not essential

  • Your own PLI and a current first aid ticket.
  • RF coordination experience on high mic-count shows.
  • A full UK driving licence.
