Kudos AV produces conferences, award ceremonies, brand activations, exhibitions and private events across London and the UK, around 500 a year, from our base in Uxbridge. The core team is full time; when a build needs more hands we book freelancers we know, and the people who do good work get booked again and again.
Signing up takes two minutes: three details now, then an onboarding form where you tell us what you do, your tickets and your rates. Once you are on the register, our bookings board can put you straight on jobs. Day rates are agreed before you are booked, and we pay promptly on invoice.
For rigging that means ground support and flown truss in ballrooms, museums and heritage venues, motors and points signed off properly, and de-rigs that finish at two in the morning with the venue happy.
What you will do
- Rig truss, hoists and points for lighting, audio, video and scenic elements.
- Work from rigging plots and site surveys with our drafting team.
- Inspect, maintain and document lifting equipment to LOLER.
- Keep the build safe: exclusion zones, secondaries and clean lines.
- Load in, load out and look after the kit.
What we are looking for
- Substantial professional rigging experience on live events.
- A recognised rigging qualification such as NRC, or equivalent proven competence.
- Working knowledge of LOLER and safe working loads, applied not recited.
- Comfortable at height and with early starts across London and the UK.
Useful but not essential
- IPAF 3a/3b and PASMA tickets, and your own PLI.
- Motor control and load cell experience.
- A full UK driving licence.
