The Foundling Museum stands on the site of the Foundling Hospital, established in 1739 by the philanthropist Thomas Coram as a place of care for abandoned children. It became London's first public art gallery, with artists including William Hogarth donating works in the belief that art should be accessible to all. The building that exists today is a Grade II listed structure of exceptional historical and cultural significance, combining beautifully preserved Rococo interiors with thoughtful contemporary additions.
As an accredited production partner at the Foundling Museum, Kudos AV has delivered events across its distinct and characterful spaces. The museum's scale makes it ideal for intimate, highly curated events where the emphasis is on atmosphere, detail and experience. It is particularly well suited to private dining, awards ceremonies for smaller guest lists, receptions, product launches and cultural or charity events that benefit from an environment with genuine meaning.
The museum is located in Bloomsbury, moments from the British Museum and within easy walking distance of King's Cross, Euston and Holborn underground stations. Its central location and rich history make it a destination that guests remember long after the event itself.
