An immersive gala production for 808 guests — fusing London-inspired visuals with Indian cultural heritage inside the Arora Ballroom.
On 15 September 2024, the Arora Ballroom at InterContinental London – The O2 was transformed into a world-class awards gala environment for Dalmia Cement's RCF Excellence Awards. Kudos AV delivered the complete end-to-end production for 808 guests across 101 round tables — one of the most ambitious corporate awards productions we have delivered in London.
The brief called for a seamless fusion of London prestige and Indian cultural identity. A panoramic LED backdrop spanning the full width of the stage anchored the room visually, while a bespoke scenic design — eleven themed installations and activations — created a layered, immersive guest experience from the moment of arrival through to the final award presentation.
Every department was coordinated by a single production team. From the custom entrance arch greeting guests on arrival to the animated London skyline content rolling behind each award category, every element was designed, built and delivered entirely by Kudos AV — one of the UK's most experienced corporate awards production companies.

This was not a standard corporate dinner. It was a cinematic production — a complete world built inside the Arora Ballroom over 808 guests and eleven scenic zones.
The centrepiece of the production was a panoramic LED configuration built across the full width of the Arora Ballroom stage. A large centre LED wall anchored the design, flanked by symmetrical side screens to create a seamless widescreen canvas visible from every one of the 101 round tables across the room.
Animated London skyline content was created specifically for the event, running throughout reception and dinner before transitioning to the gold and black awards branding for the ceremony itself. Every content cue — from animated transitions to spotlight moments — was coordinated live from the production desk by the Kudos AV show caller.
The stage was a bespoke build with a custom runway extending into the room, designed with bespoke stepped access to create a cinematic presentation moment for every award recipient. The entire stage environment — LED, runway and stepped access — was conceived, built and operated as one unified visual system.

The scenic brief for the Dalmia Cement RCF Excellence Awards was unlike any standard corporate gala. The client wanted a venue that told two stories simultaneously: the prestige and grandeur of London as a global event capital, and the rich cultural heritage of India that Dalmia Cement represents across its workforce and leadership community.
Kudos AV designed and installed eleven distinct scenic and activation zones across the venue, each serving a different purpose in the guest journey. The custom entrance arch and branded welcome backdrop established the visual language from arrival. The I Love Dalmia installation and RCF Letter Cut became natural centrepieces for guest photography throughout the evening.
Cultural elements — including the Onam Rangoli installation and Mahabali Cutout — honoured the Indian heritage of the guest community, while the London Street scenic feature and London Family photo activation brought the event's London setting to life. The Tetris-style photo opportunity and Royal-themed activation added high-energy, playful moments that kept guests engaged from arrival through to the late evening.
