MAGIC AI Personal Trainer, Store Activation at John Lewis

From initial concept visuals through to final production and installation, designed, built, and delivered entirely in house by Kudos AV, with print by Printstation London.

John Lewis Retail & Brand Activation Concept to Installation

When the team behind MAGIC, AI Personal Trainer came to us with a vision for a compact, high impact retail activation, we worked with them from the very first concept sketch right through to the finished installation on the John Lewis shop floor. The brief was clear: take an existing structural column and transform it into something that commands attention, communicates the product, and invites interaction, all within a tight retail footprint.

Every element of the build was handled in house by Kudos AV, from the fabrication and integration to the final fit out. Working alongside our in house print division, Printstation London, we produced all branding and graphic elements to a high standard, ensuring a seamless finish across every surface.

What we built

Integrated LED Edge Lighting

Continuous LED strip lighting runs the full height of the unit on all edges, creating a signature glow that draws attention from across the store floor.

Illuminated Branding

The MAGIC logo and brand identity are back-lit across multiple panels, produced by Printstation London for a premium finish that holds its own on the John Lewis shop floor.

Interactive MAGIC Mirror

A wall-mounted interactive mirror allows customers to experience the MAGIC AI platform first-hand in store, instant form correction and live rep-counting, direct on the unit.

Weight Platform & Safety Mat

A built in raised weight platform and branded MAGIC safety mat complete the activation, making the unit functional as well as visual, customers can try the product, not just view it.

Multi-Sided Content Display

Content panels wrap the unit on multiple sides, combining digital screens with printed lightbox graphics so the activation works from every angle in the store.

Compact Retail Footprint

The entire activation wraps an existing structural column, making smart use of space without compromising on presence, a full brand experience within a minimal floor area.

All branding, printed panels, and graphic elements were produced by Printstation London, our in house print division, ensuring perfect consistency between the digital and printed surfaces across the unit.
