The inaugural Football for Peace Ball honoured footballers and their mothers for their outstanding contribution to society through philanthropic ventures.

SOLUTION

To create a focal point in the Guildhall with its high ceiling and long layout, we placed a grand 10m x 4m 2.6mm LED screen at one end of the hall. The versatilely of using a screen meant it was a perfect solution to be used as a backdrop for the speakers, display key information and add dimension to performances. Using Barco E2 screen management, with media servers, we managed screen content and playback throughout the evening and used d&b sound system. Generic stage wash lighting, pinspot lights and uplights helped illuminate the vast space.

This event combines the technical demands of a high-quality awards ceremony — precise timing, dramatic lighting cues, winner reveals, live entertainment — with the warmth and generosity of a charity fundraising environment. Kudos AV produced a complete technical package: dynamic lighting design with programmed cues for awards presentations and entertainment sets, full line array audio for speeches, live music, and auction sections, LED screens displaying charity films and winner reveals, and a custom-built awards and performance stage with branded scenic backdrop.
