Another glorious wedding, and guess who was involved? Kudos AV were honoured to be a part of what was a spectacle for our lovely Bride & Groom, Pranav & Shefali.
The couple had their sights set on a dream wedding, and it was most certainly a dreamy evening. We were involved right from the very start, catering for our bride & groom’s pre events, before finally producing perhaps one of the largest weddings that Camden has seen, in the acclaimed venue that is the Roundhouse.
Using an eccentric theme such as Cirque du Soleil, we had to ensure production was in line with not just the theme, but the venue’s standards. The Roundhouse has seen some of the greatest performers the world has witnessed grace their stage, from the classic bunch that are the Beatles, to the renowned band Oasis. Based on this, we knew that only the best could do for our couple. Numerous site visits were undertaken to gain an initial visionary of what could take place, followed by several meetings with the Bhanot family to understand their requirements which would coincide with the potential of production that could take place in the venue.
The wonderfully creative Alex, Kudos’ Creative Designer, set himself a mission to ensure the couple achieved their dream of having a lavish wedding, initially by creating floor plans to execute the positioning of tables, dance floor, entertainment tables and DJ booth, but also maintaining the requirements of the venue by abiding to their health & safety regulations. As conversations progressed, Alex began to work on the bespoke content made for our bride & groom, which was a core part of the wedding reception due to the fact that the couple had prepared skits based on the content Alex would be designing.
After all the beautiful pre events, it was time for the grand finale. Kudos AV arrived at the Roundhouse bright & early ready to undertake this production and take it to the next level. LED walls, lighting, staging – and that was only just the start.Using our Absen LED P3.9mm, we created 5 individual LED walls which all displayed bespoke content, using a kenesis system to fly the wall up and down for the entrance for Pranav & Shefali as they arrived on a motorbike through the LED wall! The wall was then used in another aspect, to form a normal dance routine on the dance floor, which would then lead to the couple making their way to the stage, hiding behind the wall through the use of a bespoke made silhouette, then taking to the air as they were flown around the venue for their first dance!
What else could emphasise the video wall but lighting?
The Roundhouse, being a specialist concert venue, were more than equipped, but as we usually do, we wanted to go the extra mile, so why not top it up with an assortment of Robe & Chauvet Lighting to give it an extra wow factor! Up lighting was utilised on the balcony for ambience enhancement, with spotlights and operators used for the entrance, first dance & speeches to highlight our couple & family.
